CLASS students embark on an overseas journey as the summer begins

Every year, the College provides a wide range of overseas learning opportunities designed to broaden students’ horizons and increase their global cultural awareness. In addition to collaborating with mainland and overseas partner universities to provide semester-long exchange programmes, the College organises a variety of activities during the summer that enable students to gain international experience.

This summer, the College has sent 123 students to 9 strategic partner institutions in 5 countries to participate in 3 types of internationalisation activity: Cultural and Language Immersion programmes at the University of York and the University of Edinburgh in the UK; Overseas Summer Schools at Boston University in the US, the University of Sussex in the UK and Hanyang University and Kyung Hee University in South Korea; and Summer Professional Internship programmes at the University of Liverpool in the UK and various NGOs in Singapore and Canada.

We wish all of our exchange students safe and fruitful journeys, and look forward to meeting them at the debriefing forum in August!
