Student receives Outstanding Social Work Students Scholarship from the Y. F. Hui Social Work Trust Fund

We are happy to share with you that Au-Yeung Wai-Shan Maisie, a Year 3 Social Work student in the Department of Applied Social Sciences, was awarded an Outstanding Social Work Students Scholarship (優秀社工學生獎學金) by the Y. F. Hui Social Work Trust Fund on 15 April 2016.

The award is organised by the Y. F. Hui Social Work Trust Fund in collaboration with the Hong Kong Social Workers Association and Hong Kong Council of Social Service. The award aims to promote continuous professional education and to improve the professional development of social work in Hong Kong.

“I feel very honoured and grateful to be a recipient of the Outstanding Social Work Students Scholarship” said Maisie. Maisie has been pursuing her interest in Social Work since secondary school. She is happy for the recognition and will continue to equip herself for a career in the Social Work profession.
