The Congregation 2015 of CityU
The Congregation 2015 of the City University of Hong Kong (CityU) started on 10 November 2015 at the Chan Tai Ho Multi-purpose Hall to confer degrees on graduates. Professor Way KUO, the President, presided over the Congregation and Professor Xiaowei ZANG, the Dean of CLASS, addressed the Congregation at the ceremony.

Professor Zang congratulated the graduates and wished them a very best future. “CLASS has given you an opportunity to get a good academic training, balance your personal priorities, and feel free to choose whatever life path you want. Make a decision that you are going to make a difference in the world, even if it is in one small corner of the world. Work hard but do get your priorities right. Always have time for your family and friends. Take time to enjoy the beauty of nature and to care for the environment, Make sure that you bring with you the knowledge you have learned in CLASS but also bring an open mind that your teachers have worked hard to develop in the past three years. You mean a lot to us and I have great hopes and dreams for you.”

At the end of the Congregation, the graduate representative also addressed the congregation, thanking those who guided and supported them during the years at CityU and the opportunities that the university provided. “In the past three years, we have been nurtured at CityU and become knowledgeable individuals and critical thinker through lectures.” said Kwok Sin-hang, the graduate representative from Department of Linguistics and Translation.

Let’s express our joy and wishes to the 2015 graduates.
