About Global China Studies

"Global China" represents China in the world, China as a global phenomenon, and transnational processes and international institutions involving China. It not only encompasses conventional topics of China Studies, but also opens up new transnational and comparative perspectives for studying these issues and more directly China's connectivity with global issues. The prominence of Global China is vitally germane to research in humanities and social sciences disciplines. Taking advantage of Hong Kong's geographical location, Global China Studies aims to make itself an academic hub for China scholars in Asia and around the world.
