    Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at Bei jing Normal University and Professor of Philosophy at Grand Valley State University, author of 8 books, including Confucius – The Man and the Way of Gongfu (Rowman & Littlefield, 2016) and Understanding the Analects of Confucius – A New Translation of Lunyu with Annotations (SUNY Press, 2017), on which this symposium focuses.
