Prof. YIP Ngai Ming
Yip started his academic career after working as a social worker for nearly ten years. Graduating from the University of York in the UK, he joined City University in 1994. His current research work is focused on housing policy, housing management and urban policy. He is the Programme Leader of the MA in Housing Studies and a member of the Programme Management Team, member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and Honarary Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Housing, and a registered social worker as well as a registered professional housing manager. He is a member of the Task Force on Tenancy Control of Subdivided Units set up by the Transport and Housing Bureau of the Hong Kong Government and member of the Commercial Properties Committee of the Hong Kong Housing Authority.
