Valentina Carraro is a PhD Student at the Department of Public Policy, and RGS PhD Fellow. Her research focuses on (digital) participatory mapping as a means to challenge dominant narratives about the city. Before starting her PhD, Valentina worked on urban design and research projects in Berlin, Shanghai, London and Jerusalem. She holds a Masters in Urban Studies (with distinction) from UCL, London, and a BA in Architecture from TU Berlin.
