INCUT ESRC (International Network on Urban Low Carbon Transitions) is an international network of academic researchers and practitioner organisations across the global North and South examining how cities around the world are responding to the challenges posed by climate change. Based at Durham University, UK, INCUT counts with the participation of partners based at institutions in India, Australia, China, South Africa and the United States. It is primarily funded by the UK Economic & Social Research Council (ESRC).
INCUT held its first workshop at Durham University, UK in May 2013 and will hold its 2nd Research Workshop & Network Meeting at City University of Hong Kong, from 26 to 29 March 2014. The theme will be Urban Retrofit: Purposive or Improvised Socio-technical Transitions in HK and China. [Details]
