An exhibition of artworks from data collected in Antarctica.
Twenty-three students from City University of Hong Kong have discovered new ways to understand climate change following an art and science research expedition last December and January to Antarctica.
The images, video and scientific datasets collected during the study tour reveal a landscape that is both overpowering and yet embattled. Their 13 new media artworks premiering in May at the Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre will reveal the world’s most isolated continent from a new perspective.
Opening Gala: 6:30-10pm on 23 May 2014
Exhibition Opening Hours: 11am–7pm Monday-Saturday, 24 May to 14 June 2014
