Aims and Objectives

The Bachelor of Science in Chemistry Programme provides students with a comprehensive and rigorous training in both Analytical Chemistry and Environmental Chemistry. Through the 4-year programme, students not only build their solid foundation and thorough understanding of chemistry principles, but also develop their innovative and problem-solving skills for research and development. These qualities allow our graduates to pursue further studies, as well as professional careers in industrial, commercial, government and education sectors.

Q2.

I've got a Level 5* in Chemistry in HKDSE. Will this grade be double-counted?

Ans:

Yes! We weigh double for Chemistry and English Language.
We also weigh 1.5-fold for Mathematics and other Science elective like Physics or Biology.

Q3.

I took both M1 and M2 as my electives. How will these subjects be counted?

Ans:

We count both M1 and M2 as one elective subject with standard weight in calculation.
