September 2024 (Last Intake for 2^nd Year Entry)

IMPORTANT NOTE:

The 2024 Intake of Advanced Diploma in Facility & Property Management is the last intake for 2^nd Year Entry. The standard duration of study for Advanced Diploma in Facility & Property Management (Last Intake for 2^nd Year Entry) offered by CityU SCOPE in September 2024 will span nine months, concluding at the end of May 2025. Requests for deferral of study will not be considered unless accompanied by compelling justifications, and the decision made by SCOPE will be final.

We are committed to providing support and assistance to the students who may face challenges in specific modules or deferral of study. This support will be available until December 2025, allowing students ample time to overcome any difficulties and achieve their academic goals.

After the completion of Advanced Diploma in Facility & Property Management in 2025, there is no articulation to SCOPE’s top-up degree in property management.

Programme Objectives

The programme aims to equip students with the required technical knowledge, analytical abilities and management techniques for being a professional in the facility and property management industry, and to provide students with general business and communication skills which facilitate them for career development and enable them to plan for further studies.

Upon completion of the programme, students should be able to:

• demonstrate their understanding of the basic knowledge, personal attributes and competencies that will be required to develop a career in the facility and property management;
• apply subject practical skills to develop student’s practical skills of the way facility, estate and property management companies operate;
• possess intellectual skills to apply a professional approach to meeting the corporate and client needs of this industry sector and also to inspire them for further studies in facility and property management.

Qualifications Framework 

Advanced Diploma in Facility and Property Management is recognized under the Qualifications Framework and has been listed in the Qualifications Register by the Hong Kong Council for Accreditation of Academic and Vocational Qualifications (HKCAAVQ).
