Associate of Arts in Media and Publication Design

PROGRAMME AIMS

This programme will :

  • equip you with the knowledge, language, and design skills you need to take up positions in the fields of publishing advertising and the media;
  • provide a strong foundation for you to continue your studies at the bachelor’s degree level; both language and design programmes;
  • help you understand the development and application of new media for the publishing and design industry;
  • nurture your sense of aesthetics and increase your awareness of ethical issues in publishing and design.


MAIN SUBJECT AREAS

  • Students will take courses in the major areas of Language and Communication Skills, Publishing for both print and web, Graphic Design, Web Design and Production techniques.
