PROGRAMME AIMS
Upon successful completion of this programme, students will be able to:
- Analyze a wide range of organizational issues by applying broad-based business knowledge;
- Apply the knowledge and skills of human resources management in academic and work situations;
- Analyze business practices in both local and international business contexts;
- Apply generic skills like information technology, quantitative and analytical reasoning in a range of spheres;
- Communicate effectively in English as well as Chinese, both orally and in writing, in different business environments;
- Relate the major ideas in arts and humanities, science and technology to their own area of study.
FURTHER STUDIES AND CAREER PROSPECTS
- Graduates can continue their studies in a business-related degree programme, both locally and overseas. Graduates can apply for senior-year admission to BBA (Hons) programmes offered by City University of Hong Kong and both government-funded and self-financing business degree programmes offered by other local universities. For overseas universities, graduates can apply for admission to senior year of business degree programmes (which are offered either locally or in overseas countries), e.g. Curtin University of Technology, Macquarie University, De Montfort University, University of Hull, Edinburgh Napier University, Northumbria University, Oxford Brookes University, University of Portsmouth, etc. For details, please refer to the iPASS of HKSAR at http://www.ipass.gov.hk/eng/.
- Graduates will initially take up positions at junior executive grades in human resources, management and general administration, including specialties such as recruitment and selection, training and development, compensation and benefits, or industrial relations.

PROGRAMME SPECIFIC ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS
- E or above in either one of the following HKCEE/ HKALE AS/ HKALE subjects: Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Pure Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, or equivalent
- Level 2 or above in HKDSE Mathematics
