CCCU has two major Boards, namely, the Board of Management and the Academic Board, responsible for its strategic direction, business plans and academic offerings respectively.
CCCU Executive Committee is established by, and responsible to, the Board of Management of the Community College, for the internal management structure of CCCU and to formulate operational policies and procedures based on decisions taken by the Board on matters concerning CCCU.
The University Council approved the establishment of the Community College of City University as a company limited by guarantee. CCCU, incorporated in June 2004, is a non-profit making organization and has obtained charitable status under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance.
