Students of the College enjoy the same status as other City University students and have access to all campus facilities - Libraries, Sport Complex, Learning and IT resources, University Services - at both the Kowloon Tong Campus and the Telford Annex Campus. Students studying at the main campus in Kowloon Tong can join the Student’s Union and participate in University student activities.

Student Mentoring Scheme
Senior year students will be appointed as student mentors to help first-year students adjust to university education. It also helps to develop a supportive personal network amongst firstyear students and senior students. The scheme also creates a warm atmosphere and positive academic culture on the campus and to assist first-year students in enhancing their educational experience and development as a person and as a professional in their chosen fields of study.

Overseas Study Tours and Overseras Attachment Scheme
To maximize students’ learning opportunities in an international environment, the College runs an Overseas Attachment Scheme and organizes regular Overseas Study Tours. Each year, more than 450 students participate in study tours to a number of cities and countries, such as Australia, Beijing, Chengdu, France, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, Shanghai and the United Kingdom. Besides, more than 75 students spend one semester at the following overseas institutions through the Overseas Attachment Scheme each year:

CCCU has always maintained close links with various industrial and commercial enterprises through collaboration with organizations in the industry, arranging internship for students, and organizing site visits. Each year, more than 2,200 students participate in these activities, while more than 150 companies or organizations in Hong Kong offer internship, placements, fieldwork or hosted projects for CCCU AD students.

Members of the College academic staff are experienced and highly qualified. Of the 170-strong experienced full-time academic staff in the College, 95% are Master’s Degree holders or above, including nearly 25% with Doctorates. But as important as qualifications are, we consider enthusiasm and commitment just as important – our staff are devoted to making your time at the College the best learning experience possible. Lively teaching, state of the art materials, innovative use of teaching methodology, and a caring learning environment in which to nurture your talents — these are the assets we put at your disposal. Teaching quality is constantly monitored. Outstanding staff are recognized and rewarded through the University Teaching Excellence Award. A number of teaching staff in the College have won the award.

The College adopts the same stringent quality control as used throughout CityU and the quality of its programmes has been recognized by the Senate of CityU.  No programme is offered before it has satisfied rigorous Quality Assurance assessment procedures. This ensures the academic integrity of  each programme incorporates the most up-to-date materials and approaches, and leads to ready acceptance both by employers and our partner universities.
