Students of CCCU enjoy the same status as other City University students and have access to all campus facilities - Libraries, Sport Complex, Learning and IT resources, University Services - at both the Kowloon Tong Campus and the Telford Annex Campus. Students studying at the main campus in Kowloon Tong can join the Student’s Union and participate in University student activities.

Student Mentoring Scheme
Senior year students are appointed as student mentors to help first-year students adjust to university education. This helps to develop a supportive personal network amongst first-year students and senior students. The scheme also creates a warm atmosphere and positive academic culture on the campus and assist first-year students in enhancing their educational experience and development as a person and as a professional in their chosen fields of study.

Overseas Study Tours and Overseas Attachment Scheme
To maximize students’ learning opportunities in an international environment, CCCU runs an Overseas Attachment Scheme and organizes regular Overseas Study Tours. In 2007/08, more than 350 students participated in study tours to Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Shanghai, Macau, Zhongshan and Guangxi in China. Besides, more than 120 students spent one semester at the following overseas institutions through the Overseas Attachment Scheme in 2007/08:

CCCU has always maintained close links with various industrial and commercial enterprises through collaboration with organizations in the industry, arranging internship for students, and organizing site visits. In 2007/08, more than 750 students participated in these activities, while more than 140 companies or organizations in Hong Kong offered internship, placements, fieldwork or hosted projects for CCCU AD students.

Members of CCCU academic staff are experienced and highly qualified. Of the 170-strong experienced full-time academic staff in CCCU, 95% are Master’s Degree holders or above, including nearly 25% with Doctorates. But as important as qualifications are, we consider enthusiasm and commitment just as important – our staff are devoted to making your time at CCCU the best learning experience possible. Lively teaching, state of the art materials, innovative use of teaching methodology, and a caring learning environment in which to nurture your talents — these are the assets we put at your disposal. Teaching quality is constantly monitored. Outstanding staff are recognized and rewarded through the University Teaching Excellence Award. A number of teaching staff in CCCU have won the award.

This ensures the academic integrity of  each programme incorporates the most up-to-date materials and approaches, and leads to ready acceptance both by employers and our partner universities.
