Course Aims

This course is designed to provide students with a boarder understanding of environmental systems in the computational world. Various environmental applications using modelling from a variety disciplines (i.e., air, water and waste) will be introduced.  Students will learn the basic principles and concepts behind the environmental modelling and to study its limitations when applied towards an environmental problem.  Hand-on training will be given to students on one of the most common interdisciplinary models (i.e., ArcGIS) used in the environmental application.
