Course Aims

This course aims to provide student with an understanding of how theories from various disciplines feed into the analysis and resolution strategies related to environmental challenges. In addition to providing students with an overview of the Environmental Policy and Management Programme, the course will also demonstrate how the disciplines interface in regard to problem analysis and resolution. By the end of the course, students should demonstrate enhanced capacity to describe how and why the Environmental Policy and Management major can be considered to be truly interdisciplinary and what the main challenges are that humanity confronts in this field.

Most of the faculty that teach on the Environmental Policy and Management major will preside over both lectures and tutorials for the course.
