Course Aims

1. Abstract
Today, project management skills are considered to be core skills in the workplace. Through acquiring the good practices in project management, project managers are more likely to deliver projects on time and within budget. This course follows the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) from Project Management Institute (PMI) and covers all the knowledge areas expected from a project manager.

This course aims to introduce the concepts, knowledge, tools and techniques of project management and outsourcing. It focuses on projects in the areas of information technologies and information systems. Upon completion of the course, students are expected to be able to plan and manage a small-scale technology-related project in a modern-day business environment.
