Course Aims

This course aims to offer a glimpse into and provides an opportunity for students to think creatively about the cultural, social, economic, technological, and political impact of globalization and its historical antecedents, with an emphasis on the aspects related to business. It aims to provide a basic understanding of the forces of globalization on businesses and vice versa and to give students an awareness of the interdependence among different institutions and cultures in the world. Consequentially, the students will be able to appreciate the advantages and discover opportunities open to individuals and businesses by globalization and to empower themselves with these advantages.
