Course Aims

Students will gain understanding of the basic concepts and methods in optimization, and develop ability to apply optimization techniques to solve problems across a broad spectrum of management and engineering disciplines, including but not limited to telecommunications and information engineering.

Continuous Assessment: 50%
Examination: 50%
Examination Duration: 2 hours
Remark:
To pass the course, students are required to achieve at least 30% in course work and 30% in the examination.
