Course Aims

The course aims to give students a fundamental understanding of semiconductor physic and its applications to realize various semiconductor devices. The working mechanism of the selected devices will be studied. An overview of the fabrication process will also be introduced.

Assessment (Indicative only, please check the detailed course information)

Continuous Assessment: 40%
Examination: 60%
Examination Duration: 2 hours
Remark: To pass the course, students are required to achieve at least 30% in course work and 30% in the examination. Also, 75% laboratory attendance rate must be obtained.
