Course Aims

This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts and applications of enterprise systems, as well as the role of IT on productivity improvement.  Students will learn to identify key application areas and technology, illustrate key design issues of enterprise systems through case studies, and develop practical skills in the configuration and enhancement of enterprise systems.

Continuous Assessment: 50%
Examination: 50%
Examination Duration: 2 hours
For a student to pass the course, at least 40% of the maximum mark for the continuous assessment and 30% of the maximum mark for the examination must be obtained.
