Course Aims

This course aims to introduce students to a wide range of public relations terms, issues and concepts by identifying the range and scope of PR activities found in business, government and throughout society. Students will be able to analyse the differences between public relations, marketing and advertising. The course will also delve into the skills needed for working in public relations both as an in-house PR officer and as a specialist in a PR consultancy.
