Course Aims

The primary aim of the course is to train students to understand and analyse women’s life and experiences in the intersections with social, economic and political change in Asia. In doing so, the course examines the sources, patterns and outcomes of social change and their impact on socially structured institutional arrangements and processes, and collective action. The course aims to equip students with analytical skills and theoretical perspectives on women and social change in Asia.
