Course Aims

This course aims to introduce financial market investment theories and applications at an advanced level.  After the course is completed, students are expected to master fundamental principles adequately and be able to apply them to financial investments. More precisely, students will become familiar with advanced financial instruments for sophisticated applications of investment strategies and portfolio management even in an international perspective.

The course aims to develop students’ creative and innovative abilities through assessment tasks that involve the discovery and innovative process. The lecturer will encourage students to develop their discovery abilities through class discussions and Q&A throughout the lecture sessions. The lectures will also stress current issues in the global financial markets to help students to discover the latest development in the financial markets.
