Course Aims

The concept of biomaterials engineering is to apply engineering principles and techniques to help the development and improvement of biomedical materials for modern medicine. The design and problem solving skills of engineering are key factors in medical and biological sciences to help improve patient health care and the quality of life of patients.   This course aims to provide students an overview of the properties of various biomedical materials and their clinical applications.
