Course Aims

This course aims to introduce the basic concepts of Korean language structure,  such as sentence structure, lexical items, word order, Korean sound systems, parts of speech, honorifics and kinship terms, and discourse styles. The course will provide fundamental knowledge of Korean language within cultural context that allows students to develop linguistic understanding of the Korean language and culture.
