Course Aims | ||||||||
The course focuses on the political economy of Brazil, Russia, India, and China, as a means of introducing wider aspects of the global economy today. It aims to compare and contrast these cases, in accordance with their specific history, and the manner of their integration into the global economy, and to develop an analytical framework which lends itself both to the analysis of current developments and the investigation of further cases ‘beyond the BRICs’. | ||||||||
