Funding Arrangements

  1. For all CIS recruiting units, students' stipend are supported by the University's central fund.
  2. Based on the records of distribution of manpower maintained by the Banner System, the Finance Office will arrange the reimbursement from all CIS recruiting units of two-third of the stipend cost paid. Upon successful completion of CIS, students with satisfactory performance will be issued with a certificate, and an additional one-third of the total cost will be released as a lump sum payment to the department/project, thus making the total subsidy of two-third of the total cost from the institutional budget.
