To provide opportunities for students to gain practical experience in a real-life working environment in Mainland building industry in order to enrich their classroom learning and enhance career advancement upon graduation.
Under the MOU signed between the Division of Building Science and Technology and the Yangzhou municipal Government in 2016, the Yangzhou Government has arranged 4 internship places for our BST students to work at a reputable building company in Yangzhou in 2018. As the feedback from the 4 students was very positive, internship places had increased to 6 in 2019.
4 weeks between July and August
Selected students are mainly required to bear the return airfare between Hong Kong and Yangzhou. Apart from the internship subsidies provided by the Division, the Yangzhou Government will provide full accommodation and meal allowance to students during the whole internship period.
