We are proud to share that a total of our 29 PhD students have received the following scholarships and awards issued from Chow Yei Ching School of Graduate Studies, CityU for 2022/2023. Granted on a strictly competitive basis, the awards recognise and reward students for their outstanding academic performances in their research studies.
Chow Yei Ching School of Graduate Studies Scholarships (CYCSGS) – 1 student
Recipient: LYU Dong
The awardee shall receive a HK$60,000 one-off cash award scholarship.
Research Tuition Scholarship (RTS) – 8 students
Recipients: AI Liqing, CAO Chunyan, LI Tianmin, LIANG Jingbo, LIU Guopan, SI Xiaotong, WU Mandi and ZHU Zhongxu
The students will be exempted from paying tuition fees during the award period.
Institutional Research Tuition Scholarship (IRTS) – 6 students
Recipients: DING Yiqing, FANG Wei, FENG Yaxiu, WANG Xuejiao, WARIS Abdul and ZHOU Xiaomin
The scholarship covers 50% of the full-time self-financing tuition fees.
Outstanding Academic Performance Award (OAPA) – 14 students
Recipients: AI Limei, ASIM Muhammad, CHEN Huan, DOTSE Eunice, HE Qian, LIM King Hoo, LU Qingqing, MA Haiying, TIAN Tian, WANG Meijun, WANG Weixi, WANG Yiran, WANG Ying and ZHU Jingyi
Awardees shall receive the certificate and be given a cash prize of HK$1,000.
While our awardees are congratulated for their achievements, other fellow students are always encouraged to work diligently on both research and academic performances to get a chance to be nominated in future.
