mature technologies of our colleagues in diverse
areas ranging from electronics, telecommunications,
biotechnology and health, new materials / surface
technology, industrial technologies, building and
construction, information technology and environmental science,
etc. Some of the technologies have been successfully
turned into commercial products such as the well-received
energy-saving dimmable table lamp while others are
looking for industrial partners for further enhancement or technology transfer in the form of technology
licensing, contract research, consultancy, or collaborative
