Abstract
Chaos theory is a special dynamical systems theory that has great potential in innovative technological development of some IT products especially encryption and secure communication devices. Chaos-based image encryption refers to a new technology using the special feature of chaos that has extremely simple topology yet generates extremely complex dynamics as a new means of real-time secure image and video communications. This new approach is proven to be a fast, lean, cost-effective (with low computing power) and easily operated approach to Internet imaging with very high security. As the dynamical feature of interactive imaging requires a new dynamical encryption method rather than the conventional static encryption techniques to handle, the dynamical chaos theory provides a promising solution to satisfy this practical and crucial requirement.

簡介
混沌理論是一種特別的動力系統理論,在資訊科技上能有相當廣範的應用,特別是用於加密及保安通信裝置上。在圖像加密方面,配合混沌基本特點,便能用非常簡單的方法來制做出很複雜的加密效果,非常有利於即時的圖像及錄影加密。這個新的技術能在互聯網上提供一個快捷、輕巧、經濟(較少運算) 便宜及易用的高保安性的圖像及錄影加密系統。在新的互動圖像加密上使用新的混沌理論進行動態加密,將能提供相對於一般靜態加密技術更佳更有效的加密效果,適合應用上的綜合要求。
