Abstract
 The DNA chip is one of the latest advancements in modern biotechnology. A method for extraction of gene pattern on DNA chips has been developed. It is automatic, and can deal with low contrast images without manual adjustment. It substantially reduces experimental time and improves data extraction accuracy. The system outperforms similar software packages on the market.
