Abstract
Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) has been implemented in pharmaceutical and food industries to ensure their products meet specific standard and safety requirements. It covers all aspects of production; from premises, equipment, raw materials to personal hygiene and training. Not only detailed and written procedures have to be documented, proof of regular reassessment of staff's knowledge is also required. In the past, orientation or refreshment training of staff were achieved by means of talk given by in-house senior staff or experts from outside. This approach has many disadvantages. Information technology, on the other hand, plays an important role in today's education and training of people. The interactive multimedia kits developed offer a flexible and comprehensive training for the workers in pharmaceutical and food industries.
