Prof Xun-Li Wang honoured with the 16th Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Award

Professor Wang Xunli, Chair Professor in the Department of Physics at City University of Hong Kong (CityUHK), has been awarded the 16th Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Award by the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) in recognition of his outstanding research achievements in neutron scattering technology, material science and engineering, as well as his significant contributions to the development of world-leading neutron scattering instrumentation.

Stepping into the University of Cambridge, CityUHK Physics graduate Luo Zhihao eagerly anticipated the next chapter of his academic journey. As one of the inaugural cohort of 12 students to receive a scholarship from CityUHK to pursue their master’s degrees at Cambridge, he is undertaking a Research Master’s degree in the Department of Materials Science and Metallurgy at Cambridge.
