In late March 2018, Master's students in Dr. Justin Robertson's "International Political Economy" course travelled on board a boat with experts as part of an exercise to carry out a diagnosis of the Hong Kong container port. Five experts drawn from consultants, environmental NGOs, the container terminals and universities shared their views and answered questions from students. The students, equipped with new knowledge, debated the long-term future of the container port in the following class . . . back on land!
